When you consider some of the most premium courses in the Netherlands and the price tags attached and then you get to play Het Woold for a weekend rate of €72.50, it is a no brainer to come and play here.

Playing the course is such a calming experience being so far into the forest and a sense of wilderness. The course has a great mixture of holes, all with their own intriguing elements to them. Whether it be long-raking dog-legs or short snappy ones, holes with streams running across to make you think twice about your shot or the tall lines of trees causing you to resist the urge to get your driver out, it is a really fun course to play. It isn’t an easy course but if you manage your game well you can put together a really good round.

The course is generally in great condition and the greens ran very true as well. They had their own challenges to them with little bumps and dips throughout the 18. The clubhouse is beautiful and there’s a great restaurant out the back. The practice facilities are also very good with a driving range as well as putting and chipping areas.

Het Woold has the quality of a premium course at a very affordable rate, couldn’t recommend playing here more!
