The final stop of our trip around Wales and the culmination of 10 courses in as little as 8 days but spirits were still high and so was the wind!

Upon arrival we tucked into some breakfast (good food!) before heading to the range. A slightly shorter range so not so sure about hitting the driver here but area to hit off the grass which is always a huge plus in my eyes.

Onto the tee and the first is no piece of cake, hitting down and over a ridge with the 10th tee precariously placed well in play for most drives. Pennard had a plethora of really memorable holes, probably none more so than the 16th or actually the 7th as well which both feature jaw dropping views of the Three Cliffs Bay in the distance and during your round you may often get stopped by folk making their way through the course down to the beach.

On the day that we played Pennard the wind was brutal but what I really loved about the course is that it was tough but not penal. You could get punished by the wind and still find your ball, all the undulations and dog legs were what brough the difficulty.

Great condition, great greens and an overall really fun experience even if I really didn’t have the best round which is the sign of a very good course in my opinion.
