221 - Langebaan (Mashie)

Langebaan is a relatively small, sleepy town to the north of Cape Town, maybe a couple of hours drive and situated right on the coast. Headed up with a group of friends for a bachelor party and was hoping we would play the full 18 hole course they have there but unfortunately had to settle for the Mashie course instead.

This is an 18 hole, par 3 only course which is actually really good fun! It is not all short gimmicky holes either, the front 9 has relatively short holes for most parts requiring no more than a short wedge but on the back 9 some of them actually get quite long and with the wind off the coast can actually play pretty tough.

For R130 a round it is definitely a good, fun & casual little course without being anything too complicated.
