Similar to our round at Midden-Brabant we played here in the height of summer with some of the driest fairways I’ve seen so would love to come back when they’ve had some rain and are more lush, nothing to do with the club because it was otherwise in great condition, just the time of the year. The course is in a wonderful setting in the forest, you get the feeling of being quite far away from civilization which I love!
As I alluded to, the course was in great condition and has a lot of really interesting holes. Loved the fact that there’s a par 3 and a relatively short par 4 to start and ease you into your round. I think you could score quite well here as a higher handicapper, there’s a bit of water but easy to avoid and unless you go way off course into bush you’re unlikely to lose your ball in the rough as it’s well trimmed.
My favourite hole was the 18th, a tricky 120m par 3 with the clubhouse in the background. It’s an easy green to miss and in fact of the 6 of us (2 3 balls of course) none of us hit the green.
The club has good facilities, a nice driving range, putting green and even electric car charging stations. Would definitely recommend playing here!
