Liemeer is a pretty similar course to others in this part of the Netherlands, I wouldn't say it is too dissimilar to the Kroonprins, Wilnis or Dirkshorn in the layout/surroundings of the course. It’s relatively flat with small undulations here and there but has a quite a lot of water on the course so makes it quite a tricky one to play with much of the water around greens. There was a bit of maintenance on the 3rd hole which looked like it would’ve been a cool, 290m par 4 with several fairway bunkers and a stream running before the green. Similar to the courses mentioned above there aren’t many trees around the course so wind plays a big factor in shot selection. Many of the holes have dog legs in them making it a really interesting course to play having to judge distances and club selection.

Other than that there’s a decent driving range, putting green and chipping area. Stayed for a quick beer and the views from the terrace are across several holes on the course so nice to sit there are watch other groups going about their business.
