A short drive south of Durban is this lovely course with some stunning par 3ās in a tropical setting. The course has lots of changes in elevation and some tricky holes playing over water. Some of the par 3ās I referenced are off elevated tees which make a stunning hole.
There is loads of variety to the holes with many sharp dog legs and sloping fairways. Really have to pick your spots as the ball will easily roll from one side of the fairway to the other.
It is an area for holiday makers so the pace of play can be pretty slow and South Africans can be stubborn about letting people through. Would also recommend a cart as there are loads of changes in elevation, would be a pretty tiring round carrying a bag.
We played on a rainy day and the fairways were starting to get a little boggy but still ran true. In general the course was in good condition and the greens not too bad either
Unfortunately there is no driving range but they have a net and a big enough putting green.
