I found this to be a hugely underrated course. From the moment I drove in I knew this was going to be a delightful course to play at. I would definitely recommend playing this course if you’re in the winelands or even make the trip from Cape Town.
Most of the holes are bending one way or another or if they’re relatively straight there’s changes in elevation to deal with. There’s a fantastic par 4, the 13th which at 240 meters is certainly driveable but water all down the left means it’s high risk. The tee boxes for this hole were all little islands in the water with a path back to land.
It really is a beautiful course with plenty of changes in elevation and the fairways and greens in great condition.
The club has a beautiful clubhouse and a driving range with a beautiful mountain backdrop and free balls.
